Nicholas Sperrin

Nick started learning the ropes from my parents Carole and John. He was literally thrown in at the deep end when both my parents passed away from Covid, in December 2021.

He took control, and made Dampcure Woodcure his own. Nick was part of the Darling family, he was my husband and my rock, taking responsibility for the company until I could work again.

He helped me to build the company up and bring it into the Twenty First Century, by updating our systems in every way you could think of.

If we were short of staff on site, he would roll up his sleeves and go out to help the team, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Nick very sadly passed away within a matter of weeks from becoming ill. He was our six-foot, gentle giant and heart and soul of our family and business.

Thank you for everything that you did for our business and our family. We will miss Nick forever and always.
