Builders and developers often have a need for specialist services, in addition to our standard damp proofing and wood treatment. Over the years we have built up a wealth of expertise in techniques for basement waterproofing, and specialised plastering for other areas. For basements, it is often necessary to remove all the existing plaster, treat the brickwork, then render and plaster from scratch, using coatings with special waterproof additives.

We have treated basements all over the south-east of England, including London, Essex, Surrey, Berkshire and Hertfordshire. We have done many conversions of former pubs and other commercial buildings, into housing, where a damp-proof environment is essential.

Grange Rd – existing basement area prior to any waterproofing works

Grange Rd – rodding port coming out from the floor for maintenance purposes. This allows access to the drainage channel to flush through the system clearing any debris or possible blockages to the system.

Grange Rd – membrane can be fixed to wall surfaces with pre-formed plugs with grommets prevent water coming through. Different plugs can allow either batons to be fixed to wall surfaces or plasterboard sheets

Grange Rd – brick plugs being fixed in place, these plugs can allow batons to be fixed across the face of the membrane if required.

Grange Rd – drainage channels in black and yellow running into sump chamber with discharge pipes and electrical pipes in white running out
